What drivers need from a tyre shop website
Twice a year almost every car owner in Finland needs a tyre change, and most try to book in the same few weeks. They want to see free times without phoning, know the price for their car type and finish the booking on a phone in a couple of minutes.
Tyre hotel customers have a second question: what condition are my stored tyres in, and do I need new ones before the season. If the website answers that ahead of the visit, the customer has time to compare options and the garage can order tyres in advance instead of on the day.
How the Uraveto demo does it
Uraveto is a fictional garage that Virtueinfo built to show what we make for this trade. The home page opens with a large Finnish registration plate field. Typing a plate shows where the set is stored (hall, rack and level), the tread depth of each tyre and a note on when to change at the latest. Tyres close to the recommended limit get a yellow bar and tyres at the legal limit a red one. On the demo the lookup uses sample plates.
A season gauge counts the days to the winter tyre period, marks the current month and highlights the peak change months in autumn and spring. It explains the rule in the current Road Traffic Act in plain words.
The booking page runs in four steps: service, car, day and time, contact details. The calendar shows several weeks of working days with a load bar from quiet to full, so a customer can spot a calm Tuesday before the rush starts. A summary box shows the service, plate, time and price including VAT before the booking is confirmed.
What we would set up for your garage
For a real Finnish garage we build the site in Finnish with English or Swedish, and connect the plate lookup and calendar to the tyre hotel and workshop system you already use, so the data the mechanic records is what the customer sees. Booking confirmations and season reminders can go out by text message.
We set up AutoRepair structured data and your Google Business Profile, and write pages for the local searches people make before each season. Analytics run only after consent. Forms, the calendar and the plate field work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and we keep the site maintained between seasons.
