Website for a café and coffee roastery

Kuura Coffee Roasters is a bilingual website for a small roastery and café in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, built around a coffee subscription builder. The business is fictional: Virtueinfo made it to show what we build.

In the call we show you the working demo and how it would look for your business.

Kuura Coffee Roasters is a fictional business in Helsinki, created by Virtueinfo to show what we build.

What café and roastery customers look for

A roastery with a café serves three groups at once. The regular down the street wants to know if you are open right now and whether there is oat milk. The home brewer elsewhere in Finland wants origin, roast level, roast date and a way to get fresh beans without remembering to reorder.

The third group is easy to forget: cafés and offices looking for a local supplier. They want to know what you deliver, how often, whether you train their staff and how to ask for a price list.

A good site gives each group its own path from the home page, without making the regular scroll past wholesale terms to find the opening hours.

How the Kuura demo does it

The subscriptions page is a builder in five steps. You choose a coffee or the roaster's choice, then the roast, the grind, the bag size and a delivery every two or four weeks. The summary beside it updates with each choice, shows the price per delivery and an average monthly cost, and gives the date of the first roast. The espresso blend comes in one roast only, so the builder fixes that option when you pick it, and any coffee card can open the builder with that coffee already selected.

Adding the subscription puts it in a cart preview, and the checkout step shows where a payment provider's secure page would open, so card details never pass through the site itself. The header shows whether the café is open and the next roast day, both worked out in Helsinki time. The menu can be filtered for oat milk, gluten-free and vegan items, and the visit page lists step-free access, seating and Wi-Fi rules.

The wholesale page sets out a four-week start from first tasting to standing order and ends with an enquiry form that checks each field before sending.

What we would set up for your café

For a real café or roastery we build the site in Finnish and English, or add Swedish, with each page linked to its other language version. We set up your Google Business Profile with the same opening hours as the site and write the pages for local searches such as café plus your neighbourhood.

The subscription and shop connect to an online store and a Finnish payment provider, and wholesale enquiries go to your email or CRM. Analytics load only after the visitor consents, the pages work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and after launch we keep the software, menu and coffee list up to date.

Questions we often hear

Can customers pay for a coffee subscription on the website?

Yes. The demo stops at a checkout placeholder, but on your site the builder connects to an online store with recurring payments through a payment provider. Customers can then skip, pause or change deliveries themselves.

Can we update the menu and coffee list ourselves?

Yes. We store the menu, coffees, prices and roast dates in a simple editor, so a new coffee or a seasonal bun goes live without a developer. The filters and dietary markers update from the same data.

Does the open now status follow public holidays?

The demo works out open or closed from the regular weekly hours in Helsinki time. On your site we add exception dates for public holidays and closures, and keep them in step with your Google Business Profile.
