What a business owner wants to know about an accountant
Someone looking for an accountant usually wants three answers: do you work with my kind of company, roughly what will it cost, and how much work stays with me. A sole trader with a handful of receipts and a housing company board approving a budget need different answers, and both want them before they pick up the phone.
Trust matters as much as price. The site has to explain how receipts and payroll details move between the client and the firm, and say clearly what should never be sent through a web form.
Clients also arrive at very different stages. Someone still deciding between a sole trader and a limited company needs the steps in plain order, while an established company mainly wants to know how switching accountants works.
How the Kuittiranta demo handles it
The packages page has a chooser with two inputs: the company type (sole trader, limited company or housing company) and a slider for receipts per month. It names the matching package and shows a starting monthly price both excluding VAT and including VAT, because a VAT-registered company and a housing company look at different figures. Above the largest package it offers a tailored quote instead, and every result is labelled as an estimate, not a binding offer.
A full price table sits under the chooser and works without JavaScript. The home page sorts visitors into the three client types, the bookkeeping page walks through a month from receipts to the monthly report, and the start-up page compares a sole trader with a limited company and explains the start-up notification in YTJ. The quote form reminds visitors not to send personal identity codes, bank details or receipts.
The home page also sets out how a new client relationship starts: a short first conversation, a written quote, the handover from the previous accountant and a first monthly report that the firm goes through with you. The sample reviews are clearly marked as demo texts, and the site shows no star ratings.
What we would set up for your firm
For a real accounting firm we build the site in Finnish and English, or Finnish and Swedish, with every page linked to its other language version. We connect your Google Business Profile, write the service pages for local searches such as accountant plus your town, and add structured data for your address and opening hours.
Enquiries go to your email or CRM, and the site links to the secure document channel you already use. Analytics load only after the visitor consents, the pages work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and after launch we keep the software, prices and tax notes up to date.
